What do you love about SOF/What does SOF mean to you?
Before doing anything physical you need mental clarity, social support, and to be in an environment that is going to feed your goals. That’s exactly what I get from State of Fitness. This community of trainers and members is so welcoming and supportive. I always leave feeling like my cup has been filled.
Posse: My husband Brian and our sons, Dahnyae (10), Braylon (4)
Favorite Exercise: Deadlift Variations, Bulgarian Split Squat, Bench Press
Least Favorite Exercise: If we have to run, I’m walking away…..
Who do you look up to and why?: I look up to the DOers rather than the SAYers. Your potential is only limited by your willingness to take that first step.
Favorite Healthy Snack: String Cheese or Greek yogurt+frozen blueberries with cinnamon
Guilty Indulgence: Chips and Guac or Pita and Hummus
What do you do when you are not at the club? My house is full of hungry boys! I’m playing video games, rooting for my favorite wrestler, breaking up fights, and going in/out of the kitchen. Apart from that, I train for competitive Powerlifting and continue to educate myself on health/wellness.
Favorite Quote: “Do or Do not. There is no try.” – Master Yoda
