What do you love about SOF/What does SOF mean to you?
What I love about SOF is the sense of community and the mindset of the staff and the members to reach a common goal. The overall goal of moving more and becoming healthier for whatever reason. I love that this place feels like a home away from home, surrounded by friends and a strong community and no matter what kind of day I am having the facility seems to always make my day a bit better.
Posse: Family, my fiancé, and friends.
Favorite Exercise: pull-ups
Least Favorite Exercise: Lunges or Burpees, I can take or leave both.
Favorite Healthy Snack: Raw broccoli with slices of sweet peppers.
Guilty Indulgence: Pizza and any type of craft beer, preferably IPA’s.
What do you do when you are not at the club?
I am either rushing home to spend time with my family and my fiancé, or taking a rest and gaming. I love outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, and traveling. When I’m not outside I love to game on my Xbox, survival horror or first-person shooters are a must for me. Reading is another love of mine; my favorite books are horror and suspense!

BIO:
Angel graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2017. He had participated in the State of Fitness Internship and quickly followed this with becoming a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise.
I have always been active, a lull in the college years but hopped back into it ASAP. Throughout high school, I had played football, wrestling, and track and field. I had run the 400m and was a pole vaulter. When in college I had strength trained frequently and always had played pickup games with my siblings. I also have a love for community service and was always participating in extracurricular activities as well.
