Kyle is a 2012 graduate of Northwood University where he received his BBA. Upon graduation, he began his internship under at State of Fitness. He is currently certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
At a young age, Kyle knew he had a passion for sports as he participated in varsity soccer, baseball, and basketball through high school and then went on to play soccer at the collegiate level at Northwood University for four years. His senior year he was awarded National Strength and Conditioning Association’s All American athlete award and remains the only soccer player in Northwood’s history to receive the award. Kyle’s passion for training really started his junior year when he was helping team mates build up their strength for the upcoming season. From there he continued to help team mates and friends formulate work out plans that would adhere to their schedules and life styles.
Kyle then began his internship at State of Fitness where his love for training was reaffirmed and he was able to learn the essentials of training from Justin and Rebecca.
Kyle is an amazing trainer. I’ve done his metabolic conditioning class and his mobility class and I thoroughly enjoy working with him. He’s extremely knowledgeable and approachable. Kyle is always willing to explain a movement or answer a question, even when he’s not teaching. He has helped me deal with elbow pain and achilles pain. Kyle’s positive attitude and encouraging words always bring out the best in me and make me work harder. Whether it’s 5am or 5pm, Kyle always has a smile on his face and seems happy to be at work, which makes workout out with him a wonderful experience.
I have been training with Kyle for close to a year and I cannot say enough positive things about him. Every time I come to the gym I know he is going to push me 110% and make it fun. Aside from being an amazing trainer Kyle has become a great friend and support system. Following a tragic car accident Kyle worked with me to help me get strong again both mentally and physically, always modifying the workouts to accommodate my injury. I see him not only as a great and knowledgable teacher but also someone who really cares about his clients. Kyle’s dedication and belief in me drives me to succeed both in and out of the gym. It is obvious that Kyle truly loves what he does and that is what makes him so wonderful at his job.
