Tell us about your sports and fitness background.
I played soccer in high school; table tennis in college. Now I play disc golf, soccer, and tennis on occasion.
When did you start at SOF? How did you first get exposed to SOF? How did your first couple of workouts go?
I started about a year ago, I think…I’m terrible at remembering when things happened. I used to go to a gym that was way over-populated, and wanted a more relaxed environment, and decided to pop my head into SoF one day after shopping at Foods For Living. My first workout, Angel told me I had a terrible form for my kettlebell swing, but I’ve come a long way since then…now Jessica tells me I have a terrible form for my swings.
What is your favorite and least favorite movement/workout?
I love the bench press, and I hate ladder work.
What impact has SOF had on your life?
Going to conditioning classes, I get to see a lot of really cool people bust their butt every day. It helps to keep to get me motivated and reminds me to keep striving to work a little harder than yesterday.
Do you have a favorite SOF moment?
I really enjoy whenever Dan gets dunked on for not liking French toast.
What is your advice for people just getting started or thinking about starting SOF?
Figure out some goals for yourself, and work with a trainer to develop a plan to execute your goals.
What is keeping you at SOF?
Inertia…and I guess some of the people here are cool if you can put up with Chris singing along to Marvin Gaye.
