Consultations: Accountability is Key

You. A Trainer. 30 minutes. Focused and accountable.

Consultations are a great opportunity for accountability and connection – where else do you have the chance to sit down one-on-one with a trainer and talk about what’s on your mind? In the consultations, you’ll have someone helping you think through things like smart goal setting or how to stay focused. How is your nutrition coming along? Maybe you want to learn some tips to improve your deadlift or bench press – we can do that, too. We can accomplish a lot in those 30 minutes, and provide you with useable information to help you move forward. Maybe you’re not sure what’s next. Maybe you just need to check in with someone who’s 100% ON. YOUR. TEAM. No matter what.

 That’s Where We Come In

In your day-to-day, you might not be surrounded by positive influences when it comes to your health and wellness. That’s where we come in. Knowing you have the SOF community rooting you on can help you make better choices when you’re not in the gym. The monthly consultations can be a huge part of that; giving you even more personalized attention and tools.

I’ve Been There Too

As a member-turned-trainer, I speak from firsthand experience when I say that the monthly consultations at SOF helped me in and out of the gym. Meeting with a trainer let me know if I was on the right track, when to push it, or cut myself some slack. Some months, the appointment was an encouraging pat on the back to keep it up – always good to hear your hard work is being noticed! Other months, my consult was a much-needed wake-up call that I’d been coasting a bit too long. Whatever the message, I always left with a “we’re all in this together” feeling. What’s more, those 30-minute meetings helped me better understand nutrition for my goals, which changed over time. This was definitely not a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all approach.
