Lower-body and leg complexes and finishers are one of the best ways to burn fat, build muscle and improve conditioning. First off, let’s understand what a lower-body metabolic finisher and complex are.
A lower-body complex/finisher is a group of lower-body exercises performed back to back, each for a given amount of reps. Ideally, all exercises within a given complex should be performed as fast as possible, without any rest in between exercises. However, short rest breaks are sometimes required until optimal conditioning levels have been developed.
This is one of my favorite lower-body complexes. It includes single leg and double leg exercises, strength and power, and really pushes your endurance. It requires no equipment and can be modified for individuals that can not jump. Let’s watch the video and see what this workout is all about!
