Semi-retired (normal day: gym, office, lunch, golf). I have been working in financial planning and involved in real estate for over 38 years.

Golf. I usually play at the Country Club of Lansing or Forest Dunes. Keeping up with an 11-year old son and a 2-year old grandson. Interested in staying healthy! And I am always interested in Michigan State.

No books. Love the series “Billions” and any sort of Law and Order show.

What was your favorite concert ever attended?

U2 at Spartan Stadium!

Who’s in your main posse outside of SOF?

Nancy, wife of 21 years, Sedric, son, Paige, daughter, Easton, grandson, Gus, Goldendoodle.

What days/times are you’re normally at SOF?

9 am Monday- Friday, you can find me drinking coffee and watching the news before my sessions.

Tell us about your sports and fitness background

Played Football at MSU, center. Dabbled in baseball, basketball, and softball. Always focusing on general health and well being, especially as we age now.

When did you start at SOF? How did you first get exposed to SOF? How did your first couple workouts go?

I was the first member EVER! Justin trained me at the MAC privately for a few years before he opened SOF. I liked the routine so I came over with him.

What is your favorite and least favorite movement/workout?

I don’t have any favorites, they’re all not great. I do actually like to jump rope! Least favorite would be anything up and down off the ground.

What impact has SOF had on your life?

I have been able to maintain my weight throughout the years and increased in flexibility. Seeing my friends struggle with this throughout the years really shows me how valuable SOF is to staying healthy.

Do you have a favorite SOF moment?

Yes, sitting on the chair drinking coffee and watching TV. It’s my favorite time of the day.

What is your advice for people just getting started or thinking about starting at SOF?

Listen to what your trainer says and come regularly.
