Quick and Easy Mexican Bowl

Here’s a quick and easy meal jam packed with protein. These ingredients are usually on-hand and are great for a quick weeknight or weekend meal. 


  • 1 pound ground meat (venison, beef, beefalo, buffalo, etc)
  • 14 oz black beans
  • diced tomatoes
  • green chilies
  • lettuce of some sort
  • plain greek yogurt
  • Feta cheese if desired
  • Salsa


  1. Brown ground meat
  2. Warm black beans, tomatoes, chilies in a pot
  3. Add meat, beans, tomatoes, chilies to a bowl lined with lettuce. Add in some feta if desired. Add a dollop of salsa and plain greek yogurt. Enjoy!
