If you lived in Michigan for at least a year you know how beloved Summer is in this state. From outdoor events and summer dresses to long days at the beach and much more, summer means something special to everyone. Below is a roundup of some our summer favorites from our favorite SOF females.
Comfy shorts: Athleta Sneaky Short. Super comfy and relaxed but give off the vibe that it’s a skirt. I usually wear a S or M and I have to get an XS.
Hydroflaskis the BEST WATER BOTTLE EVER! I love to have a lot of water with me and the 40-ounce capacity is awesome. If you have cold water with maybe some ice in there, it will stay cold even though the outside is hot from the baking sun.
My absolute favorite sandals are my Birkenstocks. They feel the best for my feet and I wear them 24/7 and my feet never hurt.
Burt’s Bees Mango Lip Balmis what I use for the summer months and I never have dry, chapped lips.
Aveda Be Curlyhair products really go well with my crazy frizzy hair in the warm summer months. I have found these are best products for curly hair.
Nine West has great sun hats that are reasonably priced and are easy to pack for vacations. This one happens to be my favorite.
I love my S’well water bottle because it keeps hot stuff hot for 12 hours and cold stuff cold for 24. I have the 17oz, but I am definitely getting a 25oz one too.
I love these Tommy Hilfiger flip flops from Yonkers because they are super cute and can easily be worn to the beach, or dressed up to be worn to a wedding or a night out. They are on sale at Yonkers right now!
Sundance Jean Shorts– Sundance catalog makes a lots of amazing jewelry but I haven’t been into any clothing until now. Love the broken-in feel and length that can be changed depending on how much they are rolled. Can’t beat the sale price too!
Fedora Hat– I am a couple years behind on this trend but just started loving wearing fedoras.
Apple Watch– I love all things Apple and the watch doesn’t disappoint once you get the hang of it. The white sports band is perfect for summer and easily interchangeable come fall.
