I have found the Trainers to be very top notch when it comes to form, technique, interaction, and most importantly support/encouragement. When it comes to the class offerings, the variety is refreshing. While I typically take the Conditioning classes, the schedule ensures you are not repeating the same classes which keeps things interesting.Lastly, the environment is very welcoming from the staff to the other members. I do mostly strength training in a small group. Everyone has been very supportive and they help me to do exercises correctly. They also are happy to help me modify exercises to take it easy on my knee if needed. I’ve been at it for a couple months now and I’m stronger and feel better already. Very knowledgeable trainers!

This gym has changed my life! The semi-private classes offer a low pressure way to really work on all of the different parts of the body. A few short months after joining, every part of my body felt better as a result of the training. I have been in for over a year and always look forward to getting to a class. The workouts change on a regular basis to keep things interesting and hit different muscle groups. Other gym members are extremely friendly and at a variety of age and fitness levels. The trainers are all excellent - each with a slightly different perspective and way of motivating the class and explaining the different exercises. Peppy background music adds to the energy of the gym. I highly recommend SOF!

State of Fitness is a great Gym!!!! The qualify of the training and trainers is excellent and consistent across trainers.. The atmosphere is friendly and there is a place for everyone there. They are very friendly to people who are not "Gym Rats" There are people of all levels of fitness and ages.. I started there at my least fit stage of my life. They were welcoming, encouraging and NO JUDEGEMENT. There are also some people who are are really advanced in their training. So it is motivating to see the possibility of how far one could go on their fitness quest.. Overall it feels like a friendly community of people (a family) wanting to work on being healthy together. I am so happy I found this place. I did the 21-day trial. My first impression was that it was extremely clean and welcoming. By the end of the first week, I was totally hooked. The trainers are wonderful and I’ve made many friends. It is so nice to be working out in a clean, safe, encouraging place.

The trainers are great. They personalize everything for ya. I regularly get some soreness or pain, they’re always so good about making sure I protect those areas but continue to push myself in other areas. Highly recommend! 20/10!

It's great, you can work out in your own, join a class, have a Semi-private training sessions of 4-6 people , a personal session, they have conditioning/boot camp sessions and a monthly consultation about nutrition or workouts or whatever you want, all the trainers are qualified to nutrition advice as they've taken the coursethe trainers know what they're doing. If you have an injury you're recovering from they give you alternative movements to do in the workouts, and tell you stretches that can also help (some of which people do in physical therapy).they make you feel apart of the community, any trainers baby shower or moving away party everyone is invited, and the people you meet at the gym become great friends, when you sign up youre joining the SOF family...I've been here for 3 years and Its an amazing experience, unfortunately I had to move out of town, can't find another gym like this place (the commitment of the trianers and how they care about everyone they train and the community)

State of Fitness is a great gym. The best part is the trainers. They give great instructions and keep the pace moving along during the classes. I do semi-private classes 5 days a week and by the end of the week I know I got a total body workout. The gym always in pristine cleanliness. Another great part of the gym is it is never too busy because they regulate the class sizes and the other patrons are really great too. I’m 45 years old and love to just show up, get a trainer to tell me what to do and then go home feeling great from an hour long work out.

This place is the best. I look forward to working out here every single time. The trainers are knowledgeable, kind, and empowering. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. I’ve been a member for 6 months and have gotten so much stronger in that short time. A lot of the strength and conditioning movements have some sort of core work involved - after having 2 kids, this is the first place I’ve found where the workouts are really helping me get my core strength back. You can do a trial to see if you like it first, which I also found to be really helpful. People were so friendly and encouraging when I first joined, and really made me feel welcome. 5 stars- the best!

Greatest gym ever! This gym is worth every penny. All of the trainers are highly professional, safe, and competent. I feel very comfortable with the measures that they’ve put in place in regard to Covid. I don’t think you’ll find a cleaner workout facility.

I have only been going for a couple of weeks and this is the only gym I’ve felt comfortable setting foot in due to COVID. Incredibly clean, top notch safety procedures and friendly staff. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and are very focused and dedicated to helping their clients succeed. We found a good fit, where the trainers are inclusive, knowledgeable, professional yet personable, willing to accommodate, and provide challenging exercises for breaking plateaus. In fact, Trainer Angel worked with me during a private session to create a specialized workout to increase shoulder strength from an old injury. State of Fitness is the first gym I’ve successfully made a commitment to. That’s absolutely due to the amazing and knowledgeable staff of trainers that finds a way to make it fun to work hard. The variety of different rotating exercises in every training session keeps you from getting bored. I feel fit and I’ve lost weight. In fact, that’s the only downside. I had to go belt shopping because I ran out of notches to tighten the old one.

I joined State of Fitness about two months ago and I can honestly say that my quality of life has improved significantly in this short period of time. Fitness has always been important to me, not only for my physical health, but for my mental health as well. I have been to A LOT of gyms and fitness studios, and while I’ve truly enjoyed my experience at most of those places, SOF is vastly different. Words alone cannot capture the SOF niche; you have to try it for yourself! I feel strong at SOF (even though I’m a beginner and not nearly at the level of some of the other members, my improvement is already noticeable). The SOF approach is like no other gym, I promise. I have the semi-private membership which includes unlimited group conditioning as well. No matter what session you’re in, you will get PERSONAL training. SOF is like the old show, Cheers, where everyone knows your name, including trainers and members! The trainers get to know you and even in a small group setting, they will single you out to fix your form, make suggestions, etc. until you perfect the exercise. Kettle bells swings are my new fav, and it was the most intimidating workout to me when I started two months ago. Every single trainer is stellar. I could list the strong points of each one, but this post would be longer than it already is! I will say, Justin (the owner) is exceptional. Justin worked with me during my “induction” where he took some measurements and movement assessments. He took note of any pain or injuries for my “chart.” Coming from the health field myself, I’m impressed with the individual health approach Justin and his team takes. I love the feeling of community at SOF and how at any given session, the capacity of members in the gym is low, given the pandemic. I feel safe at SOF, whereas I absolutely cannot say the same for other gyms I’ve been to. I could go on, but in conclusion, if you are serious about achieving your fitness goals and decreasing anxiety and other stressors, sign up at SOF 🙂
